Alternative Histories at Exit Art, draws to a close this coming Wednesday November 24.
The show has proven to be an important research tool for those interested in the history of alternative art and culture. Curators and scholars from Asia, the West Coast, the Museum of Modern Art and elsewhere have come to see the show in preparation for their own projects about the subject. Because of such response, Exit Art will permanently keep the materials in their archives, from all the spaces invited for this show, including 255Canal. The materials comply more than 130 spaces spanning 50 years.
